I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses decided to axe a reunion between finalist Jacqueline Jossa and her husband Dan Osborne amid cheating allegations.
According to reports, the show had arranged for the 27-year-old actress to meet with her spouse during Saturday night’s show, however, decided to ditch the plan after they feared meeting with him could ‘really upset her’.
It would have been the first time Dan and Jacqueline saw each other since it was claimed that Myles Stephenson told her in unaired scenes that her other half had a fling with his ex-girlfriend Gabby Allen, causing Jacqueline to ‘threaten to quit the show’.
‘The visit would have been really awkward for her,’ an insider said. ‘Bosses couldn’t give her advance notice as it would ruin the surprise, which is the whole point of the reunion segment.
‘But if they didn’t give her a heads-up and she hated that Dan had been sent in it could’ve really upset her.’
The source continued to The Sun: ‘ITV is all about duty of care. They decided that Dan and Jacqueline’s first proper conversation since the dramas emerged should be off-camera and not in front of millions of viewers.’
Since Myles’ supposed chat with Jacqueline, Dan was hit with fresh claims, accusing him of having a threesome with Chloe Ayling and Natalie Nunn.
Chloe, 22, told The Sun she spent the night with Dan and Natalie following a drunken night out in London, after their Celebrity Big Brother appearance.
Dan has blasted reports, and insists they are ‘shocking’ while accusing Chloe of having ‘no morals’ and stating he is now seeking ‘legal advice’.
A rep for Dan told Metro.co.uk: ‘This story is not true and Dan will be seeking legal advice.’
Jacqueline is currently battling it out for the queen of the jungle title ahead of tonight’s hotly-anticipated final.
The former EastEnders star has made it down to the final three campmates alongside Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp.
