Jacqueline Jossa has been crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 after an emotional finale.

She were voted in by the British public (11 million votes were cast during the finale, if you were wondering), after three weeks of intense times in the Australian jungle.

Jacqueline was up against Andy Whyment in the finale, but was deemed the ultimate last one standing on Sunday evening.

Hooray for no more Bucktucker Trials, right?

As her new title was announced, Jac was speechless as Andy was crowned runner-up.

‘I hope she gets everything she deserves in life…I’m so chuffed for her,’ Andy said to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. ‘She means the world to us.’

During her time in the jungle, the soapie star was voted to take part in several Bushtucker Trials, and ‘can’t believe’ how many of her fears she faced.

But the star says that despite her journey being ‘harder’ than she expected, she’s ‘grown in confidence’ thanks to the experience.

She explained: ‘I can’t believe I did all that stuff. It was not what I expected, it was a lot harder than I expected. But also I just didn’t think it was going to be such a turning point in life. I went in and was one person and I feel like I’ve come out as a different person.

‘I feel like I’ve grown in confidence and found who I am as a person a little bit more.’

Jacqueline then professed her love for husband Dan Osborne, as her fellow campmates gathered to cheer her on.

In between tears, she said: ‘Thank you so much for voting for me, I love my family so much, I love Daniel, I love my kids, I love my mum and dad, my best friends…’

Extra Camp’s hosts Adam Thomas, Emily Atack and Joel Dommett then handed down the crown as Jacqueline screamed in delight.

Which took us back to her final trial, which saw her pinned down and covered in creepy crawlies – forcing her to basically scream for 10 minutes straight.

For the first two minutes she had fish guts and mealworms on her left arm, but the actress tried to distract herself by thinking about what she was going to have for her dinner. It worked a treat and she fetched her first star. Then a delightful mix of crickets, scorpions and cockroaches were put onto a right arm but she got through the next two minutes and got another star.

Then came the spiders…

After winning, Jac was greeted by Dan as she wore her jungle crown, the emotional reunion coming after drama circled the pair while Jac was busy winning the title in Australia.

It was reported earlier today their reunion scene would be axed, after it became somewhat of a tradition to welcome the loved ones of campmates into the camp before the finale.

While we didn’t hear Jac or Dan talk in tonight’s finale, it was reported their first chat should take place away from cameras.

‘The visit would have been really awkward for her,’ an insider said. ‘Bosses couldn’t give her advance notice as it would ruin the surprise, which is the whole point of the reunion segment.

‘But if they didn’t give her a heads-up and she hated that Dan had been sent in it could’ve really upset her.’

The source continued to The Sun: ‘ITV is all about duty of care. They decided that Dan and Jacqueline’s first proper conversation since the dramas emerged should be off-camera and not in front of millions of viewers.’

It comes after Roman Kemp was earlier booted from the camp in third place.

The radio presenter was put in a pit with over 50 snakes in his final Bushtucker Trial but even that wasn’t enough to save the 26-year-old.
