I'm A Celeb turns awkward as Dec makes 'jibe' about Ant McPartlin drink-drive ban

I’m A Celebrity presenter Declan Donnelly put his foot in it as he seemed to make fun of Ant McPartlin ‘s drink-drive car crash last year.

During tonight’s show, Caitlyn told the rest of the campmates about her impressive range of cars, as she talked them through the list.

Dec then turned to Ant in the studio and said: “What a life though. Imagine that, living the showbiz dream, driving incredible cars…”

Viewers know that Ant has been banned from driving for 20 months and was fined £86,000 after being involved in a car crash while he was under the influence last year.

Fans commented on the awkward exchange, as one fan posted: “Don’t mention driving!”

Another asked: “Ant and Dec talking cars funny subject. When Ant loves a crash. I am not talking about a stock market crash.”

A third chipped in: “Dec talking about “driving the cars, living the dream!” With Ant. Awkward.”

A fourth wrote: “Don’t mention driving cars to Ant.”

Luckily, Ant quickly moved the conversation on as the pair cracked on with the rest of the show.

The group had been playing a game of Would You Rather? when the conversation about cars came up.

During the game, Roman asked Nadine: “Would you rather have Caitlyn’s planes and the ability to fly them or her cars?”

Caitlyn said: “I’ve got some badass cars. I have a GT2 RS Porsche brand new, the fastest production car in the world, 700 hp.”

Andy then played his trump card: “I’ve got a brand new Kia Ceed, it’s lovely. It’s a 1.4 petrol so I’ll give you a race!”
