I'm A Celeb secret sex cave 'exposed' as stars head into the Australian jungle

I’m A Celebrity returns to our screens this weekend with a new set of famous faces ready to swap their luxurious lifestyles for the Australian jungle.

While there may not be anything fake about the Bushtucker Trials on the show, not everything is as it seems in the camp.

One of the most shocking revelations about the show’s set is that the waterfall where the celebrities strip off down to their skimpy bikinis isn’t actually real.

Following her stint in the jungle back in 2006, former campmate Lauren Booth confessed: “The waterfall, like the pool beneath it, was not part of the jungle at all but a man-made creation.”

Mylenne Klass was a hit in the “fake” waterfloor shower

She said to the Mirror: “Unless, of course, ‘real’ rainforest waterfalls get turned off between three and six every afternoon.”

The same year David Guest discovered that the boulders around the camp were hallow and appeared to have been made from papier-mâché.

Of course the jungle life isn’t all about fear and starvation as romance often blossoms around the camp fire.

The most iconic relationship was Katie Price and Peter Andrew who fell for each other in 2004 with endless flirting and massages.

If the lovebirds joined the show 12 years later in 2016, they could have conducted their rendezvous in private thanks to the introduction of a secret sex cave next to the shower.

Producer Oli Nash told The Mirror: “Next door is a secret cave which will be hidden behind a locked door.

“It will be used a number of times through out the series for our celebrities.

“Inside it is just a plain cave with a bench but we will be using it through out the series for various events.

Catalina Guirado took part in the show in the early days

“The floors a bit hard – but it can be used for romance.”

The line-up for this year’s series was officially confirmed by ITV this week featuring Girl Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Keeping up With The Kardashians Caitlyn Jenner and Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway.

While Ant and Dec are back to host, following Holly Willoughby stepping in for Ant last year, spin-off show Extra Camp has had almost a complete makeover.

Comedian Joel Dommett returns for his second year, though he is this time joined by fellow former I’m A Celeb stars Adam Thomas and Emily Atack to dissect the camp of big names.
