Ikea shoppers can get a six-piece breakfast for £1 from tomorrow

IKEA customers who fancy a fry up before a big shop can get a six-piece breakfast for just £1 from tomorrow.

For that price, the cooked brekkie includes a rasher of bacon, sausage, omelette, a hash brown, tomato and beans.

There’s also a vegetarian option for non-meat eaters, including a veggie sausage and mushrooms instead of bacon.

An Ikea breakfast of the same size typically costs £2.50, so shoppers are saving £1.50 compared to the usual price.

The offer is available from tomorrow, February 3, 2020, until March 27, 2020.

You’ll need to time your trip carefully though, as most Ikea stores open at 10am and the deal will stop each day at 11am, giving you one hour to order your food.

The offer is also only available Monday to Friday, so you won’t be able to get it during the weekend.

The best news is you won’t need an Ikea Family card to redeem your cut-price brekkie, meaning anyone can benefit from the discount.

However, customers who are signed up to the loyalty scheme will also get a free tea or coffee with their food.

If you don’t already have an Ikea Family card, you can sign up for free on the retailer’s website.

With the card, you’ll also get regular offers, special prices on selected products and an extra 10 percent off sale prices.

If you’re already planning your breakfast run, Ikea has 25 branches including restaurants across the UK.

You can find your nearest one using its store locator tool.

However, those keeping an eye on their food intake after Christmas will want to know that the whole plate contains 473 calories.

Morrisons cafes also serve breakfast, but they’re slightly more expensive as the cheapest one costs £3.75 and contains 1,009 calories per plate.

It’s bigger though and includes sausage, bacon, hash brown, egg, baked beans and half a tomato as well as two slices of toast.

While Wetherspoon sells a very similar breakfast with just one slice of toast for the same £3.75 price, but keep in mind its prices can vary across the country.

Spoons’ option contains 907 calories.

There’s more good news for Ikea shoppers as the flat-pack furniture giant is set to open its first UK mini-store in Hammersmith shopping centre.

Last year, it was revealed how Ikea is to build 160 “flat-pack” homes to help tackle Britain’s housing crisis.
