How can I find the opening hours for my local IKEA store?

Dependant on location, IKEA stores have different opening hours, so it’s always a good idea to check in advance.

You can find out where your nearest IKEA store is – as well as its opening times – using their Store Locator.

When is IKEA open over Easter?

The majority of IKEA stores will be open over the Easter period but with some changes. Some times will vary from store to store, so ensure you double check.

• Good Friday – Open 9am – 9pm
• Easter Saturday – Open 9-am – 9am
• Easter Sunday – Closed
• Easter Monday – Open 8am – 8pm

When are the Easter holidays 2019?

This year Good Friday falls on April 19 and Easter Monday is on April 22 – while the school break is two weeks long.

The celebration for most adults has been a four-day weekend as Good Friday and Easter Monday are also bank holidays.

For those with kids, the school holidays this year starts on Monday, April 8, 2019 and ends on Monday, April 22, 2019.

To be 100 per cent sure of your child’s school term times use the Government’s postcode checker.

Normally, the county council sets the holiday dates – although schools sometimes change the weeks.

Academies and private schools are given more autonomy and often have different holiday dates and length to state comprehensives.
