A visual novel from Ireland, coming next year.
Annapurna Interactive has, very quickly, earned a name for publishing fascinating, frequently gorgeous video games, bringing us What Remains of Edith Finch, Outer Wilds, Telling Lies and with Wattam and Sayonara Wildhearts waiting in the wings – and joining them is If Found…, a new visual novel from a young team in Dublin that’s looking spectacular.
It’s told with hand-drawn art from Liadh Young, a soundtrack from 2mello and a selection of Irish artists and comes from Llaura Ash McGee and a small team working out of Dublin. Set in early-90s West of Ireland, it has you working through your memories as you seek to destroy your own diary.
It might all be a little familiar, too, if you came across If Found… when it featured at EGX Rezzed back in 2016. If Found… is coming to PC and iOS next year.
