Meanwhile Greggs is selling them for £1.55 each, meaning the bake-at-home versions work out cheaper than buying them at the bakery chain.

Shoppers can pick up a pack of the savoury snack from Iceland and simply cook from frozen to enjoy at home.

The bake is made up of chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, and sweetcured bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, all encased in a crunch crumb-coated golden puff pastry.

The frozen pastries are almost identical to the fresh ones you can find at Greggs, but strangely contain slightly fewer calories.

The Iceland version contains 450 calories each, while at Greggs they contain 453.

The supermarket chain currently have them on offer for £5 for three 316g packs, meaning you can indulge in the festive delights for just 83p each.

Pastry fans should hurry if they want to stock up in time for Christmas, as this offer ends December 3.

Greggs has stocked the Festive Bakes for the past few years, and it’s no surprise that they’re back by popular demand this Christmas.

Greggs’ festive menu has just been rolled out in shops, and features classics like its £2.75 Christmas lunch sandwich, as well as alternatives such as a £3 pigs under blanket baguette.

New to the range this year are tiffin bites, as well as Greggs’ packs of two chocolate penguin biscuits.

In other festive news, Eat has also revealed its own festive menu which includes a peppermint brownie.

You can also head to Morrisons for Christmas tree crisps and stuffing mince pies as part of their Christmas range.
