Iceland Easter 2019 opening hours – Good Friday and bank holiday Monday opening times

SPRING has sprung and the Easter holidays are here – but people still need to get that shopping in over the four-day break.

So if you’re planning on cooking up a feast and you want to stock up from Iceland, here is all you need to know about its opening times.

How can I find the opening hours for my local Iceland store?

Closing times can vary from store to store, so it’s always important to check your local branch.

The majority of Iceland stores appear to be open as usual, but make sure you double check with your local store directly.

You can do this using the store finder on their website.

This year Good Friday falls on April 19 and Easter Monday is on April 22 – while the school break is two weeks long.

The celebration for most adults has been a four-day weekend as Good Friday and Easter Monday are also bank holidays.

For those with kids, the school holidays this year starts on Monday, April 8, 2019 and ends on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Normally, the county council sets the holiday dates – although schools sometimes change the weeks.

Academies and private schools are given more autonomy and often have different holiday dates and length to state comprehensives.
