I tried Miranda Kerr's sell-out 'noni' face mask and it's the best thing that's happened to my skin

Kora Organics Noni Glow Sleeping Mask, £43

THE HYPE

Disclaimer: I am utterly obsessed with Miranda Kerr. Whether she’s preaching the benefits of rose quartz for finding love or lauding the potent skincare benefits of noni juice, I’m into it. In fact, I’m pretty sure my depleted bank balance is courtesy of Miranda’s recommendations so news of her launching Kora Organics on Space NK was music to my ears; I’ve spent far too much money on mysterious algae drinks to justify shipping costs from Australia.

I opted to try the Kora Organics Noni Glow Sleeping Mask because Miranda has long credited the curious noni fruit for her glowing, clear skin.

“I’ve been drinking Noni since I was 13 and feel it’s the key to my health & vitality,” Miranda preaches. “I take it every morning before a meal and sometimes in the afternoon when I need an extra pick me up. It’s so easy to use as it’s packaged in a single serve sachet, which are great for travel. I always keep an extra one in my handbag.”

So what’s all the fuss about? Well, the ‘lightweight bouncy gel treatment’ mask is packed with noni and promises to boost hydration to deliver smoother, plumper looking skin. It’s also full of Certified Organic Silver Ear Mushroom (sorry, what?) and Coconut Milk, as well as the rather luxurious sounding Caviar Lime and Kakadu Plum Extracts. I have no idea what 80% of these things are but I’m excited.

BEAUTY BIO

My skin is currently a reflection of my lifestyle: pizza, prosecco and an average of five hours’ sleep a night. Noni, come at me.

THE REVIEW

Miranda advises users of the mask to apply it generously onto a clean face, neck and décolleté. It smells fresh and a lil bit fruity and absorbs super quickly so if you hate coating your face with a thick and rich cream, you’ll absolutely love this guy.

You’re then supposed to leave the treatment on overnight and rinse off thoroughly with warm water in the morning or you can use it as a wash-off mask and rinse it off after 15 minutes but who can be bothered with that? Just slap it on and go to sleep, people.

Miranda warns that you may notice a little bit of redness after use due to the gentle fruit acids, something I didn’t experience. Instead, I woke up with the softest skin I’ve had since birth. My makeup glided on like a dream and it worked better than any primer I’ve tried. I actually can’t stop touching my face it’s that smooth.

Miranda also claims that each of her products are energised with Rose Quartz, a crystal believed to ‘carry a soothing energy to encourage love and acceptance of ourselves and others’ so I’m hoping that with more use, I’ll become less of an intolerant b**** too. Ideal.

VERDICT

Smooth, glowing skin and a better personality? What’s not to love?!
