The coronavirus pandemic has changed our daily lives for the foreseeable future, with many people on lockdown, staying inside their homes.
For those living on their own, this could be an incredibly lonely time, but for others being stuck in their house with their partner 24/7 could prove just as tough.
One woman from Nebraska has recently revealed she discovered her husband’s infidelities right before they started self-isolation and now she’s forced to live with him, being reminded of the hurt he’s caused her every single day.
Ouch.
The wife, known only as Lisa shared her difficult experience with The Cut, explaining how the whole thing is “boggling” her mind.
Lisa claims it’s been two weeks since she discovered her husband of six years has been cheating on her with multiple people.
The affairs have all taken place during the last year, following the birth of their child, and one was with a close friend of hers.
“I am heartbroken and unable to trust him emotionally, he is still in the house,” she said.
“Having to live in a space with someone who has disrespected me and lied so extensively, it’s boggling to the mind.
“I am furious and extremely disappointed with the man that I love. I am so broken when I think about wanting to give him a kiss goodnight, because I need that, but I can’t because I know what he did. It is not an easy space to be in.”

She goes on to say that the first night she found out, she kicked him out of the house and he stayed in a hotel.
But as the outbreak worsened, he had to come home and now sleeps on the sofa.
She continues: “There are moments every day that I think about asking him to leave but I take a step back and realize we can’t afford to do that right now.
“Luckily I am well-versed in compartmentalizing, so I am able to live in a space with him and have the ability not to pick up a knife.”
The parent goes on to admit that the most difficult part of it all is knowing she won’t be able to see her friends in person for emotional support for a long time.
She adds: “The only people I trust right now have to stay six feet away and we can’t even go out for drinks to talk s**t about him. That is killing me. And it’s only just begun.
“Still, amid the chaos that is the world around us right now, and having a toddler that seems to have a changing attitude every two minutes, knowing that my husband is there in some capacity is better than not right now.
“We are all in this pandemic together.”
