At the time she hit back: “I wear a poppy off screen – I donate to the British Legion – I come from a forces family – I’m really not a b***h, c*** or p***k .”
Meanwhile, Charlene recently broke down in tears after she watched a proud video message from one of her old drama teachers on Loose Women.
The show runs a segment called ‘Life Before Loose’ for panellists where they take a look back at their childhood and early careers and this time it was Charlene’s turn.
Before being a news anchor and Loose Women regular, the 41-year-old went to Italia Conti drama school in London, where she won a full scholarship.
For a surprise, the show had tracked down one of her old drama teachers from Conti, Angela Michaels.
