Hugo Lloris injury: Tottenham captain suffers horrendous arm injury after conceding goal to Brighton

Hugo Lloris suffered a serious arm injury in the first-half of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion and appears destined for an extended period on the sidelines.

Spurs made a terrible start to the Premier League match at the AMEX Stadium, conceding after just three minutes following another howler from Hugo Lloris.

The goalkeeper dropped a routine Pascal Gross cross on his goalline before stumbling backwards, leaving Neal Maupay with a simple header.

Lloris suffered a serious injury to his left arm during his mistake and had to be replaced by Paulo Gazzaniga.

The Tottenham captain received oxygen as play was suspended for him to receive treatment, eventually departing the pitch on a stretcher.
