HRVY’s personal appearance at shopping centre shut down in four minutes as he gets mobbed by fans

HRVY had to be escorted out by security after being mobbed by thousands of fans

Popstar HRVY’s latest personal appearance at Bluewater shopping centre ended up having to be cut short after fans got wind of his appearance and caused total mayhem.

HRVY, real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, was scheduled to do an in-store appearance at JD Sports, but he was made to leave after just four minutes as the crowds became too much for security to control.

He is one of the stars of JD Sports’ latest advert, alongside Maya Jama, and his in-store performance was only supposed to be for 150 fans.

The sportswear retailer posted about the event on its website, telling fans: ‘If you haven’t heard already, HRVY will be hittin’ up Bluewater shopping centre on the 9th November where he’ll be giving fans the opportunity to meet him in person, as well as a live performance!

‘With only 150 wristbands up for grabs, this one’s for the biggest HRVY fans. You can pick ‘em up from store opening on the day of the event; 09.11.19. between 9am and 10am.

‘You’ll have to be SUPER quick if you don’t wanna miss out.’

However, despite the limited spaces for the event, hundreds of fans turned up to try their luck at getting to meet HRVY – and almost got him arrested in the process.

As thousands of teenagers swarmed the shopping centre, security had to remove HRVY from the venue for his own safety, but the singer still managed to pose for some photos with fans outside the centre.

The Million Ways singer, 20, told his followers on Twitter: ‘ok so I got out guys and told I was gonna be arrested if I didn’t leave I’m sorry.’

He added: ‘bro i love you guys, i wish I could of [sic] stayed but I didn’t want to get arrested.’

Many of the fans had been at the shopping centre since it opened to get a glimpse of the singer, but the event had to be cancelled after the crowds became overwhelming.
