How Tottenham's win over Brighton has affected the Premier League top-four race


Christian Eriksen was Tottenham’s hero on Tuesday as Spurs ran out 1-0 winners over Brighton in the Premier League.

The victory sees the north London side all-but secure their top four status this season and qualify for Champions League football next season.

The game was a cagey affair at Spurs’ new stadium, with the deadlock only being broke with two minutes of the match to play.

Tottenham have just three fixtures left this season: two homes matches against West Ham and Everton with Bournemouth away sandwiched in between.
