MCDONALD’S month-long Appy Days giveaway might be coming to an end, but fast food fans still have one more chance to pick up FREE fries today (January 24).
Hungry customers can get their hands on a medium-sized portion of chips by ordering on the McDonald’s app.
Medium fries typically cost around £1.09 but as prices vary between restaurants, the amount you save will depend on where you live.
You’ll then need to click on the “Deals” section when the offer is live and you’ll find a button for your free fries.
The deal will only be available from 11am until midnight, and you don’t need to purchase anything else on the Maccies menu to redeem your chips.
This isn’t the first time McDonald’s has given away free fries this month, but luckily you can still go back for more as the deal is for new and existing app users.
You’ll need to be near a McDonald’s restaurant though as the freebie can’t be claimed as a delivery order through Uber Eats.
Thankfully, the majority of McDonald’s 1,200 branches will be participating in the promo, with the exception of 28 stores that aren’t on the app.
You should first check where your nearest Maccies is by using the online restaurant finder.
Diners will then need to read the terms and conditions of the offer to make sure their nearest is taking part.
But like all good things, Appy Days comes to an end on Sunday 26 – we’ve rounded up the remaining deals here.
Just remember to eat responsibly – you might want to take note that a medium portion of fries contains 337 calories.
An adult man should eat around 2,500 calories a day, while it’s 2,000 for a woman, according to NHS guidelines.
So far, McDonald’s has also given away free milkshakes and Coke Zeros as part of its January promotion.
We’ve also seen free bacon rolls being dished out with any hot drink.
McDonald’s also knocked £3 off £10 worth of food when spending on the app.
