Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has stunned fans this week with some noticeable aesthetic changes. While the haircut and the plain black trousers are still the same, fans were taken aback when the music mogul was pictured in a red t-shirt while filming for America’s Got Talent over in the states.
Gone was his signature white, V-neck, t-shirt and in its place a new brighter Tee – along with a noticeably slimmer looking Simon too.
Simon’s weight loss is something that has caught the eye of fans and hasn’t gone unnoticed by his BGT co-stars either.
How much weight has Simon Cowell lost?
Simon is believed to have lost as much as 20lbs in weight following a health scare when he was rushed to hospital in 2017 – and he did it the all-natural way by changing his eating habits.
Appearing on Lorraine earlier this week, Simon was grilled on his slimmer look by his merciless Britain’s Got Talent co-judges, with Amanda Holden revealing: ‘I couldn’t believe it, he’s basically got the same waist size as me!’
Comedian David Walliams added: ‘Well I’ve lost a tiny bit of weight, and then he lost about five stone!’
‘But he won’t say how he did it? Was it the gastric band or the gastric sleeve? He’s not saying,’ the former Little Britain star teased.
Just in case anyone didn’t realise that David was joking, Simon recently addressed the rumour he’d used a gastric band to achieve his weight loss which he denied, saying: ‘I haven’t. If I had, I would admit to it. This diet is all about what you put into your body.
‘I met this doctor in LA and he told me my diet was appalling and I had to cut out fatty foods and certain drinks.’
‘I could see the difference. Cutting out sugar made a massive difference. The first few weeks were difficult, but then I actually stopped craving sugar.’
