How many children does Kate Garraway have?
Kate Garraway shares two children with her husband of more than a decade, Derek Draper.
The couple have daughter Darcey, 14, who was born on March 10, 2006 and 10-year-old son William “Billy”, who Kate gave birth to on July 28, 2009.
Darcey and William occasionally appear on her Instagram feed, where she has well over 760,000 followers.
The adorable pair have even joined their mother at some of her work events and appeared in OK! Magazine with the broadcaster.
Is Kate Garraway’s husband ill?
Kate’s husband Derek was taken into hospital on April 1, 2020, where he tested positive for Covid-19.
As of June 5 he still remains in intensive care.
Kate has revealed that she is trying to stay “positive” for her children.
Kate and her children haven’t been able to visit Derek due to NHS guidelines, but staff have held a phone up so that she can talk to him and play music over FaceTime.
The TV host has been very candid about her homelife during this ordeal.
Kate revealed she has been forced to find new ways to keep her kids strong as Derek remains critical.
As the weeks go on with no improvement, she told fans she is trying to keep going for their kids.
