Mark Wright is due to have an emotional turn on Who Do You Think You Are when he discovers that an ancestor was burned at the stake for being Jewish.
The ex-TOWIE star, who’s married to Coronation Street alum Michelle Keegan, is set to appear on the show tonight, (September 11) and will say with tears in his eyes: ‘How is it possible for human beings to do this to other human beings because of a religion?
‘I can’t help but feel angry at the whole Inquisition – angry for my family, my ancestors, that they had to go through that because they followed a religion.’

How long have Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan been together?
Mark and Michelle have been together since December 2012.
The pair got engaged the following year, and on 24 May, 2015, they were married.
On the subject of whether or not they were looking to expand their family, Mark said earlier this year: ‘We have no plan for babies yet, we’re both busy with work and have no plans at all at the moment but obviously at some point in the future.
‘Normal life for us is like date night. We go to the shop, we get our food and we cook it and we choose our film and we just love it. Doors shut, with the dogs, it just never gets old.’
In May, Michelle opened up to The Sun on why she stopped sharing so much of her life on the internet, saying: ‘I know there’s interest but I just thought: “I’m not feeding it any more.”
‘We get that we’re in the public eye and have a public relationship, but we’re normal people at the end of the day, and we don’t need to give all of ourselves up.’
Before he got with Michelle, Mark was in an 11-year relationship with his TOWIE co-star Lauren Goodger.
They were engaged for a short time in 2011 but that ended after rumours emerged that Lauren had been unfaithful.
Lauren denied these claims.
Lauren previously claimed that she once ran into Mark and Michelle and was ignored by the couple.
The 32-year-old has also said in an interview with Heat magazine: ‘They don’t talk. It’s really weird. I was like “f***ing hell, we weren’t like that”.
‘It’s like they don’t know each other. I can’t go into that though.’
