How far behind T-Series is PewDiePie as YouTube channel reaches 100 million subscribers?

The feud between PewDiePie and T-Series has been ongoing since October last year when the Indian music label started to close the gap on the YouTuber’s reign as the most-subscribed channel.

Since then there has been a back-and-forth battle that has seen them swithc positions mulitple times.

T-Series has finally secured it’s position at the top and has become the first YouTube channel tor reach 100 million subscribers.

What is PewDiePie’s sub count?

PewDiePie currently has 96,221,306 subscribers, putting him around four million behind T-Series which is currently the most subscribed channel on YouTube.

T-Series currently boasts 100,124,966 subscribers after passing the 100 million mark earlier today.

he upload count between the two is quite different, with T-Series uploading 13,443 videos, while PewDiePie currently has 3,847 videos uploaded to his channel.

This has also had an impact on the number of video views, with T-Series having over 71 billion, while PewDiePie trails behind with 21 billion.

The two channels have gone on to overtake many of YouTube’s own channels when it comes to subscriber count, including Movies and Gaming, and they are now closing in on the overall most subscribed channel.

YouTube Music is the only channel left on the website that the two rivals can still overtake, as it currently has 106,378,448 subscribers.

It is more of a way to promote music videos, and the channel doesn’t upload any content of it’s own, but it’s ability to feature top music has made it popular with users.

What is the PewDiePie and T-Series fued?

The battle for subscribers between the two channels started last year after T-Series became the most-viewed channel on YouTube.

It then started to rapidly gain subscribers and close the gap on PewDiePie, who was the most subscribed YouTuber for a long time.

He then started asking fans to help him keep the top spot on YouTube and this was followed by support from a number of other big YouTubers.

This led to support from people like Mr Beast, Alfie Deyes and Logan Paul.

T-Series chairman Bhushan Kumar then released a video addressing citizens in India to support the channel.

In the video, he said: ‘There is an Indian YouTube channel on the brink of becoming the world’s number one. It’s taken us a lot of effort to come this far.’

PewDiePie eventually gave up in his battle against T-Series in March and in a video on his channel he said: ‘ T-Series has been in the lead for the past couple of days.

‘Who cares about sub count anyway? Honestly, so lame,’ he joked. ‘This was all just a troll. It was a big troll. I said it, I don’t care about numbers.’
