Homes Under The Hammer’s Lucy Alexander reacts to Eamonn Holmes news ‘How did I not know?’

Lucy Alexander, 48, took to Twitter and questioned This Morning host Eamonn Holmes, 59, as he spilled details on meeting Hollywood star John Travolta, 65. The former Homes Under The Hammer presenter had taken to the micro-blogging site and revealed who her dream dinner party guests would be, saying it was none other than the Pulp Fiction actor. This led Eamonn to take a cheeky swipe at the mother-of-two as he did not make her list. In view of her 25,600 followers, Lucy said: “Today round the dinner table we all talked about our fave dinner party guests, both my kids said they would want the whole cast of ‘Friends’. I said John Travolta.”

The This Morning presenter replied: “Not me…I’ve met JT. A very engaging person. Very pleasant and friendly.”

Stunned by the revelation, Lucy exclaimed: “Whaaat? How do I not know this JT story.,? (don’t mean John Terry or Justin Timberlake…) although either of those quite fun I imagine.”(sic)

The Customer Is Always Right presenter is a close friend of Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford, 59, with their families said to live close by.

It is not uncommon for Lucy and Eamonn to share cheeky banter on the social media site.

The small-screen star’s post led to fellow tweeters to put forward their suggestions of which celebrities they would invite for a dinner party.

One person said: “I’d have you at my dinner party Lucy over John Travolta any day. We’d have just the most fun!”

To which Lucy replied: “Ha ha ha I love a dinner party! Yes fun fun,” followed by a crying with laughter emoji.

Another person said: “I’d have @ZoeTheBall @sarajcox and @jowhiley. Never stop laughing.”

While a third person said: “It would have to be @tomhanks – so witty and entertaining #hanx.”

Meanwhile, Lucy took to Instagram and share a snap of herself as she sported a floral ensemble.

The TV personality visited Dormy House Hotel, a luxurious farmhouse tucked away in the Cotswolds.

In view of her 38,800 followers, the property expert captioned the post: “Had the loveliest of times at @dormyhouse its new design looks incredible, the spa is out of this world & the food was delicious. There are all sorts of different dining options, one room with a pineapple theme #hotels #design #food #dining #spa #pineapple.”

Fans rushed to comment on the post, as one person gushed over her outfit and wrote: “Love your dress.”

Another person said: “Sounds amazing, thanks for sharing,” while a third person added: “You look incredible.”

She later took to her Instagram stories to share snaps from inside the chic farmhouse which included a room dedicated to pineapples.

One photo showed Lucy leaning against the wall which had the fruit printed on the wallpaper, and she captioned it: “Wallpaper goals.”

Another shot showcased a gold pineapple light fitting which dropped from the ceiling.
