We previously reported how the DIY store’s garden furniture item was regularly priced at £350 according to Google Shopping, but was reduced to £220.

Now, just over another 30% has been shaved off the price to its current bargain value.

Egg chairs have been extremely popular this summer with some selling-out in record time.

You’ll want to be quick if you want to snap-up this chair as the bargain will be no different and stock will only be subject to availability.

The Homebase egg chair made of rattan material in a classic white shade, and comes complete with a soft cushion to sit on too.

The chair is supported by steel legs and measures just over a meter and a half tall, one meter wide and supports weight up to 110kg.

Unfortunately due to the popularity of the garden furniture piece it’s no longer available to order online.

But if you’re lucky enough to live close enough to a store that has one in-stock they’re still available for free click and collect.

When we checked, Homebase Oldbury, and Homebase Morecambe had none left, but Homebase Farnham had just one left in stock.

You can use Homebase’s postcode checker to see the availability near you, as it shows up to five stores closest to your location that may or may not have the chair in stock.

But before you commit to a purchase, it’s a good idea to shop around first.

You might find an even better deal than this one using comparison tools like Google Shopping or Price Spy.

VonHaus has reduced the price of its freestanding egg chair too, but it’s still more expensive than Homebase’s sale item.

The chair was £330 and it’s now £220 so while shoppers can make a bigger saving (of £110) it’s still £70 more expensive than Homebase’s.

You can order it online though, and delivery is free.

The cheapest you can pick up an egg chair from The Range is £230 so you’d have to fork out another £80 more than Homebase’s discounted one.

It’s a slightly different design as it’s a hanging egg chair, which was the popular choice for shopper all summer long.

But you can get this one delivered too, and you don’t have to pay extra for shipping as it’s free.

Now that the summer is officially coming to a close many other retailers have some major bargains you can take advantage of, including Aldi’s latest up to 50% off Specialbuy sale.

Homebase had even slashed the price of its six person hot tub from £560 to £360 previously, plus a further £60 reduction has come with its latest sale.

But you’ll want to be careful splashing out on anything for your back garden on the cheap as a hot tub has been urgently recalled over safety fears, including electrocution.
