With clients ranging from the ever-so-fashionable Holly Willoughby to Geri Halliwell and Rochelle Humes, it’s safe to say that Angie Smith knows a thing or two about all things style.

GLAMOUR chatted to the stylist ahead of the Boots Feel Good Frames Launch to catch up on the latest fashion mantras, get her top styling tips, and talk all things Instagram…

What is one styling hack that is so simple but will totally overhaul your look

Accessories! They really do create outfit ammunition and the easiest instant update. Choose a bag, shoes, hat or a cool pair of glasses that will make the look complete.

Take pictures of what you’re wearing and put the pictures together so you can see what works and what doesn’t.

What are your 3 tips for posing for Instagram for a brill OOTD shot

Take lots of photos – it’s great to have options to choose from. Have fun with it, it really reflects in an image, stand up/sit down and generally move around to create some shape in your pictures. Finally, find the good light and use it. Fitting rooms and my bedroom are the best light for me.

What are 3 things we’re all going to be wearing this season?

Trench coats to see me through this unpredictable weather into summer, suits as there are so many brilliant ones around and go-with-everything knee-length boots.

Everyone was obsessed with neon, what’s next?

Denim, it really had its place on the SS19 catwalk. Bleached or styles with a 1980s influence are key.

What are 3 brands you’re loving on Instagram that we might not have heard of?

Bassike, Spell, American Vintage and Re/Done for amazing denim.

Any sustainable brands you’re loving?

Yes of course; it’s so brilliant to see brands championing sustainability. Arket for a high street buys with a conscience. Reformation for that Cali cool girl style and Ninety Percent for those everyday pieces that belong in everybody’s wardrobes.

How can we style our glasses to match our outfit?

I think that really depends on the route you want to go down. Go classic if you want to match your everyday wear. Stick to neutral tones and easy-wearing shapes. Coloured styles or interesting shapes will definitely have more of a contrast but won’t feel out of place with great prints etc.

What are the shoes everyone will be wearing this season?

Personally, I try not to follow trends. It’s important to wear what feels most comfortable and not panic purchase the latest trend. Choose something that’s going to work for you on a daily basis. White boots have a place in most people’s wardrobes, great with floral dresses and barely there sandals are on-trend change up to your favourite evening shoe.
