Later on, in the show, Phillip nearly came close to tears, as star of Succession Brian Cox spoke about his interview at the start of February, which saw him reveal to viewers he is gay.
After their interview with Brian came to an end, the actor reached out to Phillip before he could move onto the next segment.
“And by the way, well done,” he said, as Phillip seemed visibly moved by Brian’s remark as he replied: “Oh, thank you Brian.”
“Really, really well done,” Brian continued. “I was really proud of what you did. I thought that was a remarkable thing. And, really, that’s something.”
