Holly Willoughby: This Morning host ‘overtaken’ as UK's best paid female star by TV rival

Amanda Holden, 48, is currently estimated to earn more than £5million a year, which has reportedly led her to overtake daytime TV rival Holly Willoughby, 38. The This Morning presenter previously dominated financially with her television work and several product deals securing her millions. However, according to The Sun, the Britain’s Got Talent judge has now surpassed Holly by securing multiple six-figure pay deals this year. Amanda is said to earn £1million as a judge on two series of the ITV talent competition with the latest rendition of the programme, Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, set to air on August 31.

The mum-of-two is also thought to take home around £1.5million as a presenter on the Heart Breakfast show, which she hosts with Jamie Theakston, 48.

Amanda reportedly achieved another £1million after signing a lucrative record deal with Virgin EMI, following companies competing over her future in the music industry.

A further £1million then comes from the star’s deals with Marks and Spencer and QVC.

She has also pocketed £500,000 from her latest collaboration with clothing brand Fenn Wright Manson.

A source revealed to the publication: “Amanda’s earning potential has gone through the roof the last few years.

“She’s raking it in from various angles and is sitting very pretty right now.”

Amanda and her husband, record producer Chris Hughes, own two properties in Surrey and the Cotswolds.

The blonde beauty’s family has just returned from a luxury holiday in Puglia, Italy, and they are now enjoying a break in Cornwall.

The insider added Amanda is “down to earth” in spite of her millions.

They explained: “She loves the glitz and glamour but also is very down to earth.

“She’s as happy rubbing shoulders with superstars as she is in Cornwall with the family.”

The news of Amanda’s wealth comes after she confirmed she had landed a record deal after showing off her vocals in a viral video.

The TV personality sang her own version of Tightrope from hit movie The Greatest Showman in the clip alongside her two daughters Hollie Rose Hughes, 7, and Alexa Louise Florence Hughes, 13.

Amanda revealed the exciting news on her Instagram page in view of her 1.2 million followers last month.

She shared a photo of herself beaming with delight as she signed on the dotted line to kickstart her career in music.

She added the caption: “B****y thrilled to confirm I have signed an amazing record deal with @VIRGINEMI.

“It has been a lifetime’s dream!!!!! Just cannot wait to get started…”
