Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have expressed their condolences to the family of a guest on The Jeremy Kyle Show who died shortly after filming.

The ITV show has been cancelled following the suspected suicide of guest Steve Dymond, who was found dead in his bedroom just days after his appearance on the show.

Addressing the cancellation on This Morning, hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield read out ITV’s statement before adding their own condolences to Steve’s family and The Jeremy Kyle Show production team.

After reading the statement, Holly said: ‘We’d also like to add our condolences to the family of Mr Dymond and also to The Jeremy Kyle team and crew to whom this has been a dreadful shock.’

Schofield added: ‘There’s no indication yet what will replace Jeremy’s show in the future.’
