Holly Willoughby: Proud This Morning star gives insight into family life 'I did it'

This Morning host Holly Willoughby gave fans a rare insight into her family life on social media yesterday.

The TV presenter took to Instagram to share a snap online, while her family keep busy at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mum-of-three Holly, like most parents across the country, has been home-schooling her children, while continuing to work, following the closure of UK schools.

The ITV star took to Instagram yesterday to reveal what they have been getting up to during their time in isolation.

Holly, who shares her children Harry, 10, Belle, eight, and Chester, five, with husband Dan Baldwin, has been making bread with her kids and was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.

She told her 6.5 million followers that she had followed a recipe from This Morning chef Phil Vickery.

Alongside a picture of Holly proudly displaying her handiwork, she wrote: “Wow… thank you @chefphilvickery I did it!!”

Holly went on to say: “Kids can’t believe it… much fun had by everyone…”

Continuing: “Now the best bit… yum! xxx #thismorning #bakeoff.”

Instagram users and fans and a few famous faces took to the comments section to share their thoughts and praise the TV star for her culinary skills.

One user, who likened her to a top chef, said: “You’re as good as Gordon Ramsay.”

Another added: “Well done Holly, I bake bread all the time with my grandchildren, they love it.”

The One Show host Matt Baker remarked: “Hooray another Baker”

However some users said they were struggling to find the ingredients needed to make their own bread at home.

One user joked: “Lucky lady I’d sell a kidney right now for some yeast can’t get any from anywhere.”

Sharing a similar sentiment, another said: “Great if you can actually buy flour; I regularly bake but cannot replenish the flour.”

A third added: “Where did you buy yeast from?? I can’t get it anywhere.”

One very helpful user posted a recipe to make the equivalent of 70g yeast at home.

They wrote: “Make your own: 150 ml of beer, 1/12 spoon of flour, 1/12 tea spoon of sugar. Mix and leave till the following day. It equals to 70gr of yeast.”
