Holly Willoughby: ITV co-star calls This Morning presenter a ‘b***h’ in swipe at rival

Holly Willoughby, 38, has filmed the first episode of the new series of Celebrity Juice, which is fronted by comedian, Keith Lemon.

This time round, the This Morning presenter will face a new team captain, Mel B, who will be replacing Paddy McGuinness.

However, they appear to have had a bit of competitive friction already as the Spice Girl band member branded her a “b***h”.

Mel B said Holly will “drag my hair and weave off” in order to win a challenge on the ITV2 comedy show.

During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs tomorrow night, Mel spoke of her new co-star: “Holly’s very nice, you know she does This Morning, she’s very like prim and proper, she’s like the people’s lady, but man is she a b***h when it comes to the competition stuff.

“She will drag my hair and my weave off to get to winning.”

But Mel appeared to have the same traits as her co-star as she added: “The show is so much fun. I’m really competitive to a default actually. Very competitive.”

On the first episode of series 22, the team captains will be joined by celebrity guests Denise van Outen, Maura Higgins, Gemma Collins and Emilia Fox.

Holly shared a snap of her stunning outfit to her Instagram page for the show, which was widely complimented by many of her 5.8 million followers.

The host flaunted her slender pins in a leather mini skirt, teamed with a black jumper tucked in, which had the words “More Joy” emblazoned across her chest.

Holly has been a main part of Celebrity Juice since it first launched in 2008 where she was joined by her pal, Fearne Cotton, on the opposing team, until she quit last year.

Elsewhere, Holly referred to the idea of quitting television earlier this week on This Morning.

The mother-of-three and presenter Phillip Schofield were joined on the ITV show by Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, Kevin Clifton, and celebrity partner, Anneka Rice.

During their chat, Anneka revealed the reason why she finally wanted to compete on the BBC One competition after previously turning it down.

She said she felt like she is on a “gap year” as her youngest son has left for university and her eldest had recently got engaged.

Anneka added: “You know when you’re bringing up children, you work hard not to embarrass them?” she said, laughing: “My way of doing that was to stop doing television altogether.”

Holly addressed the concept of quitting herself, joking: “Okay, is that what I need to do?”

The presenter and her husband of 12 years, Dan Baldwin, are parents to Harry, 10, Belle, eight, and Chester, four.

The Jonathan Ross Show airs tomorrow at 10.30pm on ITV.

Celebrity Juice returns to ITV2 on October 10.
