Holly Willoughby is 'instantly beautiful' in last look at controversial dress

Holly Willoughby has been labelled “instantly beautiful” as she shared a last look of her wearing the ‘princess’ dress which caused controversy during the first show of the new Dancing On Ice series.

The 39-year-old, who co-host the ITV skating show with Phillip Schofield, had divided opinion with her dress.

Some viewers expressed their “shock” at the “inappropriate” outfit on Twitter, with some saying that it showed too much for a family show.

While there were some detractors, the vast majority of Holly’s fans were in raptures at the beautiful outfit and they expressed their love for her when she shared a close up selfie, a couple hours after the show finished.

Posting a photo of face, made up for the TV show and looking resplendent, she captioned the pic: “See you next Sunday … ❄”

Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon was quick to praise Holly, writing: “You look instantly beautiful.”

Another agreed, commenting: “Simply stunning.”

Holly had given her seven million followers a glimpse at her outfit before the show and it was branded “amazing” and “stunning”.

Adorned in pink lace and feathers, the dress clinched in at the waist and flowed down to the floor.

Posing while glancing over her shoulder, the gems on Holly’s dress glittered and added sparkle to the dress.
