Holly Willoughby Instagram: This Morning star delights fans with 'best selfie EVER'

The This Morning favourite, 38, uploaded a fun snap in view of her 5.5 million followers after she and her co-host Phillip Schofield, 57, received a visit from some very special guests. Holly Willoughby was over the moon to welcome children’s TV heroes the Teletubbies on to the sofa today, taking the opportunity to get a quick selfie with the group. After the show, she shared the picture on Instagram, gushing: “Best selfie ever!” The shot showed the presenter beaming with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, La La and Poe coming in close to fit in the frame.

Holly’s famous friends rushed to share their excitement, with Davina McCall, 51, commenting: “Arghhh… so jealous!”

Nicole Appleton, 44, chipped in with a string of hearts in Teletubbies colours.

Fans also went wild for the Teletubbies pic, with one saying: “Serious selfie goals. My toddler would be proud.”

“This is my favourite thing on the internet right now,” another added, while a third exclaimed: “Omg my childhood dream.”

On This Morning, Phillip and Holly were seen sitting down for a bizarre chat with the Teletubbies, with the former introducing them by saying: “They were the group who stormed to the top of the charts in 1997 when they were number one for two weeks with their debut single.”

“It’s so lovely to see you,” Holly told the characters. “Thank you so much for coming in today.”

One member of the Teletubby family was noticeably absent, however: their hoover Noo-Noo.

“Last time we met each other was on The One Show and I have to say, I’m quite happy you’ve left Noo-Noo at home,” Holly admitted.

As the shot cut to a clip of the incident, the hoover could be seen surprising the star by appearing to give her bottom a cheeky squeeze, with Holly adding: “Because last time I saw Noo-Noo, this happened! Noo-Noo was a little bit naughty.”

The surreal TV appearance rounded off with the Teletubbies performing their hit single.

At the end of the song, they marched around the studio to the music, with Holly and Phillip joining the end of the line to dance along.

Holly has hosted This Morning with Phillip since 2009 and the pair are also known for presenting Dancing On Ice together.

In addition to her hosting skills, her outfit choices have become a focal point for fans who regularly tune in for fashion inspiration.

Today, she put on a summery display in a brightly coloured blue dress with orange print.

The long-sleeved number featured a tie-waist which cinched in to showcase her hourglass curves.

Holly opted to pair the dress with nude stiletto court shoes and wore her blonde tresses in her usual bob of gentle waves.

Before the show, she shared a picture of the look with her Instagram followers, informing them the garment was from Whistles.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
