Holly Willoughby has explained how her marriage to Dan Baldwin is surviving during the coronavirus lockdown.

The This Morning host, 39, has been married to TV producer Dan, 44, for 13 years and they have three children together.

They are all now cooped up at home due to the coronavirus lockdown, but Holly has revealed Dan is making extra effort to keep their relationship strong.

Speaking on This Morning today, she said: “We’ll be off in different parts of the house and I’ll come back and he’s made a cup of tea or put the washing on and that really makes a difference.”

Holly is still making daily trips to the ITV Studios to film This Morning with co-host Phillip Schofield, but is otherwise staying at home with her family.

Holly Willoughby spoke out about her marriage on today’s show

She was 26 when she married Dan and they are parents to sons Harry and Chester and daughter Belle.

They met when they were both working on kids’ TV show Ministry of Mayhem, and Dan now works as an executive producer on Holly’s show Celebrity Juice.

In an interview with the Guardian, Holly previously revealed the pair started out as friends before their relationship turned romantic.

She said: “We had this ridiculous friendship.

“It went from not knowing each other, to being the best of friends. I adored him.

“Didn’t fancy him, he didn’t fancy me. There was one moment when we cheersed, and I just looked at him, and went ‘Oh my God, I fancy him’. And that was it.”
