HOLLY Hagan has revealed she’s lost 16lbs in just 12 weeks in a series of incredible before and after photos.
The Geordie Shore star, 27, told fans she’s overhauled her lifestyle in a bid to hit her fitness goals, and it’s certainly paying dividends.
While she looks great, Holly admitted she wasn’t sure about sharing her weight loss journey on social media.
She said: “I’ve been so nervous to post these because this has been so much more than just looking thinner.
“I’m not saying ‘go do this and you’ll get my body’ I’m simply showing my results from 12 weeks hard work at the gym.
“12 weeks, 16lb down and i can honestly say that @real_life_health_and_fitness has changed my life ?? I still have a long way to go and so many more fitness goals to hit but I feel confident that I’ll get there ✨ .”
Holly described her lifestyle at the beginning of the programme as “bad”, admitting she had three takeaways a week and did no exercise.
It affected her mental health and she was unable to sleep.
The transformation has been stark, with Holly now much stronger and healthier.
She said: “I can’t believe I can now do full press-ups, lift heavy weights and feel confident in any gym. What shocked me the most is that I’ve done all this eating CARBS! so many carbs!! Daily pancakes and cocopops, potatoes, rice EVERYTHING!
“I’ve spent my entire life crash dieting, starving, binging, making myself ill when I didn’t need to.
“I FINALLY feel in control ??❤️.”
The post went down a storm with her friends and followers.
Charlotte Crosby gushed: “Oh wow.”
While Love Island’s Kaz Crossley said: “Woahhhh inspiring lady ❤️?.”
As Lateysha Grace wrote: “Omg well done holly !!!! ?.”
In the run up to New Year, Holly told how she “risked her life and made herself sick” as she battled to be thin after being called a “fat s**g”.
She shot to fame when she joined MTV show Geordie Shore in 2011, and opened up about being branded “the fat one” in the cast.
Holly wrote: “I spent years of my life trying every single diet fad in the hope of finding ‘the secret’.
“I tried the teas, the coffees the carb blockers, drinking nothing but water and cayenne pepper DESPERATELY trying to be thin.
“I would resort to making myself sick, fat freezing and eventually I would risk my life on an operating table because I genuinely believed there was no other option.”
