Holidays may seem like a distant memory or a future prospect for a lot of holidaymakers. But while many British travellers are dreading the prospect of spending their precious summer holidays in the UK, others are planning for the future.
The USA
Travel writer and Founder of travel website Kidventurous Erin Gifford explained that her number one destinations so far were national parks in the US.
She said: “I love national parks here in the US, so it would be a park for sure.
“It’s hard to choose one though I equally love Crater Lake National Park in Oregon for its gorgeous blue lake and Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming for the gorgeous mountainous scenery.
“They’re both so beautiful, so inspiring.”
Slovenia
Jenna Kvidt and her husband Micah are filmmakers and photographers who founded their own travel site, Wander The Map.
As avid travellers and adventurers, they have visited multiple countries.
Jenna said Slovenia was one of their favourites but that it was difficult to choose just one.
“It’s so hard to pick a number one destination!
“We love so many places for so many different reasons.
“But, if we had to choose, Slovenia is one of our absolute favourite destinations, as well as Iceland.”
But she added that there may be another destination that takes the number one spot.
“Micah would say the Galapagos is not far behind either of those, and for me, I’d say Japan is right up there, as well!”
Slovenia is a stunning country with a very green capital city called Ljubljana.
It’s definitely worth a visit just to visit the city’s gorgeous Tivoli Park.
