ROY HODGSON expects Wilfried Zaha to be at Crystal Palace after the summer break.
The £80million-rated winger is keen to play Champions League football and wanted by Arsenal, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and his former club Manchester United.
But boss Hodgson believes Zaha, who has four years left on his deal, will be at Palace for the start of pre-season.
He said: “I have that old-fashioned idea that when you sign a contract, you go back after the season ends and start playing again.
“That’s the way I see it. I hope he finds good form in the last two games.”
Zaha, 26, was ineffective in the 0-0 draw with Everton and Hodgson admits his star takes too much on himself.
He said: “That pressure comes from him, not us. At times we encourage him to release the ball and run off it more, than run with it.”
Captain Luka Milivojevic hopes Zaha goes nowhere.
He said: “If you play for Palace, you want him to stay.”
Palace, who are 12th in the table, travel to relegation-threatened Cardiff next weekend before hosting Bournemouth on the final day of the season.
