Dwayne Johnson has revealed Hobbs & Shaw, the upcoming Fast & Furious spin-off, will feature 30 gravity defying stunts and over 120 global stunt performers for what he promises will be an ‘epic action moment’.

In this exclusive clip ahead of the film’s release, we see high speed car chases, helicopters vs jeeps, a Mission: Impossible style dangle out down the side of a skyscraper and what will surely be a monster hand to hand combat scene between Dwayne, Jason Statham and Idris Elba.

Johnson is joined by co-star Eliza Gonzalez for the clip shared in support of the Industry Trust’s Moments Worth Paying For campaign which reminds everyone to, you know, not illegally download films and support the industry.

The action film reunites Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Statham) two years after the events of The Fate of the Furious, with the pair teaming up to stop an international terrorist known as Brixton (Elba).

Neither Johnson nor Statham will appear in the ninth installment of Fast & Furious though, as they were filming this spin-off as the movie began shooting.

Filming on Hobbs & Shaw concluded in February (Picture: Metro.co.uk)

Filming on Hobbs & Shaw concluded in February and Johnson posted a dramatic image of a low-flying helicopter inches away from himself and Stratham with the caption: ‘Last men standing.

‘HOBBS & SHAW is officially wrapped.

‘Easily the most challenging film I’ve ever produced and starred in, however based on the fans’ insanely hyped “break the internet” reactions to our first trailer — this film is also shaping up to be my most rewarding.’

The Baywatch star then went on to thank co-star Stratham, saying: ‘A HUGE bald and brotherly MAHALO to the man who trusted me and our chemistry.’

He continued: ‘He’s one legit talented and tough bastard and the pure joy I got from making him laugh so f***ing hard during the our takes he couldn’t even talk, I will always remember with evil ? glee.’
