Hilton hotel opens at new concert and events complex


Hilton Aberdeen TECA has   welcomed its first guests with a complimentary Moët champagne and in-room gifts.

The city’s only Hilton Hotels & Resorts branded property, at the site of recently launched P&J Live on The Event Complex Aberdeen, has 200 bedrooms over four floors, including nine stunning suites named after the region’s most famous sons and daughters, and the Presidential Suite with an outdoor terrace space.

 

Its Quarter House Bar & Grill offers a menu of Scottish delicacies masterminded by executive head chef Sayan Bandyopadhyay, such as Aberdeen Angus beef, ham hock, smoked salmon, crowdie and Cullen skink.

The Devona Spa has a Technogym fitness centre and dance studio, 20m heated indoor pool and whirlpool, as well as a sauna and steamroom.

For conferences and events with up to 90 guests, there is 257 sq m of meeting space, while Hilton Honors members can enjoy access to the executive lounge with a terrace overlooking the P&J Live piazza.

The £333 million TECA opened in August, replacing the old AECC after three years of construction work. It already has a list of major music stars booked to play at the P&J Live! arena.

 

The hotel is operated by management company RBH , whose c hief business development officer Andrew Robb said: “It is fantastic to see Hilton Aberdeen TECA officially open its doors to guests.
