Hi-5's Nathan Foley says a reunion show with all the original members isn't confirmed

He sent fans into a frenzy after he hinted that the Hi-5 band members were ‘working on’ an adults-only reunion concert, on Wednesday.

But on Thursday, Nathan Foley admitted that the show hasn’t ‘been confirmed’ and it might not actually go ahead.

Taking to Instagram stories, the 40-year-old singer explained: ‘I’ve got to clear some things up because I’m getting inundated [with calls] and messages from fans.’

‘So the other day at the Wiggles reunion I did a little one minute melody of some Hi-5 songs and it went crazy,’ he continued. 

‘So I thought I might post something up grab an old picture of Hi-5 and see if anyone was interested in going to an 18+ event,’ he explained. 

Nathan went on to say that he has been receiving countless messages from fans and explained that the show might not actually go ahead.   

‘Let me just clear something up. This concert is not confirmed yet, there is nothing solid going on [and] nothing is concrete.’

He said: ‘We have been group messaging to try and organise a show [but] we don’t know when it’s going to be. We’re all pretty busy individually.’ 

‘There is going to be no promises but we are really trying to get something up and running for you guys.’

Nathan’s post comes one day after he said he is ‘working on’ an adults-only reunion concert featuring the band’s original lineup on Instagram. 

‘My lil possible Hi-5 reunion post has gone CRAZY! It’s now hit the media,’ he wrote. ‘We are working on it guys!’

The reveal came after he sent fans into a frenzy when he asked his followers whether they would attend a reunion concert.
