The update includes a new Operator and a slew of new accessibility features.
Ubisoft has unveiled details of Operation Neon Dawn, the fourth season in Rainbow Six Siege Year 5.
The new season introduces Thai Operator Aruni, as well as an “entirely reworked” Skyscraper map, new accessibility features, and the Sixth Guardian Program, which will offer a limited-time bundle dedicated to an as-yet-announced charity.
The new accessibility features include Voice to Text and Text to Voice options for the in-game chat channel. Chat assistance like Narration and Hints have also been added to the Options menu, and now players can now adjust the audio/visual cues for the chat and the font scaling.

As for the new Operator? Aruni is equipped with an original gadget called the Surya Gate and can deploy laser gates on walls, hatches, doors, and windows that damage Attackers but still give defenders access. Aruni also comes with a P10 RONI or a MK 14 EBR as a primary weapon, and a PRB 92 as their secondary.
If you’d like to get in on the action early, the Test Server for Operation Neon Dawn will go live on 9th November, allowing players to test upcoming gameplay features before they go live in the main game. As always, as this is a testing environment, a “consistent gameplay experience” cannot be guaranteed on the Test Server.

Microsoft recently added Rainbow Six Siege to Xbox Game Pass after teasing a cryptic tweet on its social media channels.
Just in case you missed it, Rainbow Six Siege has a free next-gen console upgrade, Ubisoft has announced. It means existing players of Ubisoft’s hugely popular competitive FPS will be able to get the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S version at no extra cost when upgrading within the same family of consoles.
The next-gen versions run at up to 120 frames per second and 4K resolution, Ubisoft added.
