Ah, Kate Middleton. Queen of high-low dressing, master of a structured Reiss number and the only woman we know that can pull off wedges all year round.

Kate has become a national style icon, starring on the cover of British Vogue, having an Aspinal tote named after her and sending high street sales soaring every time we get so much as a glimpse of her in an affordable ensemble.

It seems just yesterday that we wiped away a tear as Kate Middleton entered Westminster Abbey an Alexander McQueen-clad bride – and emerged as the great hope of the British Monarchy – and fashion industry.
