Games, controllers and more all set to go on sale.
We’ve only just ticked over into November but Microsoft has already given us a heads-up on a couple of its Xbox Black Friday deals it’ll run this year.
Stepping onto the streets like a Black Friday town crier, Major Nelson belted out the news confirming that one game and a selection of controllers will feature in the first wave of Xbox Black Friday deals.
That game will be the Sea of Thieves: Anniversary Edition for 50 per cent off – bringing it down to 19.99. Of course, the game has also been available on Xbox Game Pass since release, so there’s the option to try it out for even cheaper there if you’d prefer. Still, that’s not a bad price if you want to get involved with some piracy and plundering in Rare’s seafaring adventure.
As for the Xbox controller deals, you can expect to see 20 off the likes of the Night Ops Camo Special Edition, the Sport Blue Special Edition and the Gears 5 Kait Diaz Limited Edition controllers. Microsoft has said many more controllers will also be available at the lowest prices of the season, so some of the plainer versions could also see reductions.
Both of these offers will be available from 24th November until 2nd December in both the US and the UK. You’ll be able to buy them directly from the Microsoft Store and from select retailers, so expect all the usual suspects to be involved. Also, a number of Early Access deals will go live from 21st November for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold members.
But that’s just the start, as Major Nelson also revealed that the full line up of Xbox Black Friday deals will be announced on 14th November during the Inside Xbox broadcast at X019. The show begins at 7pm GMT.
