Dame Helen Mirren admitted she lost her cool when she saw ‘the most beautiful man’ Jason Momoa while on a plane.
The 74-year-old actress did something super ‘uncool’ (her words) and decided it was a good idea to take a sneaky photo of Jason just because she thought he was beautiful.
In her shoes, we’d do the same exact thing and more.
Appearing on CBS show The Talk on Monday, she said: ‘I had secretly sort of done something rather uncool on an airplane.
‘I didn’t know him at all at that point.
‘He was with his beautiful wife [Lisa Bonet] and my heart just went… I was with my husband [Taylor Hackford], but my heart just went, “Oh my God, that is just the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life”. I was floored by it.’
She then added she had to take a photo of the 40-year-old: ‘Oh my God, he was so gorgeous.’
We bet her husband didn’t appreciate not being the most beautiful man she’s ever seen.
The story has a happy ending for the Catherine The Great actress.
She went on to actually meet the heartthrob when they presented an award at this year’s Oscars together.
She was a little bit more relaxed this time (barely) and even managed to joke about the fact they both turned up wearing pink.
If Jason being beautiful isn’t enough for you, he’s also super adorable when talking about his wife.
He admitted Lisa had been his childhood crush long before the two even met.
The actor must have planned the couple falling in love, getting married, and having kids because who else gets to marry their childhood crush?
He told Esquire magazine: ‘[She was] literally my childhood crush. I mean I didn’t tell her that. I didn’t let her know I was a stalker until after we had the kids.’
It’s a good thing he didn’t, otherwise there would have been a chance of Lisa running for the hills.
Jason married the Cosby Show actress in 2017 and they had been together for 12 years before then.
