The Blindspotting series takes place six months after the events of the film of the same name.
Daveed Diggs starred in the film as a professional mover on probation who witnesses the police killing of an unarmed Black man.
Meanwhile, his friend Miles (co-screenwriter Rafael Casal) purchases a gun and begins to suffer from increasingly erratic behavior that puts their safety in jeopardy.
Jasmine was featured in the film as Miles’ partner of 12 years, and the series picks up after he has been incarcerated, with the focus shifting to her life.
While struggling to care for their young son, she’s forced to move in with Miles’ mother, played by Helen.
So far, the series boasts an impressive 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
