Helen Hunt was rushed to hospital after the car she was travelling in flipped amid a violent collision with another vehicle.

Footage of the incident shows that Helen’s vehicle, of which she was travelling in the back seat, assumed it had a clear path to cross the intersection but was clipped at the last moment by a second white car, forcing the SUV to flip on its side.

The Twister and As Good as It Gets actress was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills after complaining of pain but reps for the 56-year-old have since confirmed she was ‘shaken, but suffered no major injuries’.

TMZ reports that local police forces have not cited anyone ‘for the crash, and drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the incident’.
