Diddy has shared a heartbroken tribute to Kim Porter, his former partner and mother of his children, one year on from her tragic death.

Kim died in November 2018 after suffering from pneumonia, with the rapper – real name Sean Combes – recently admitting her passing continues to ‘hurt so much’.

Never shy about how her sudden death has affected him and their family, he remembered the model with an emoji tribute.

Taking to social media, he shared an image of a broken-heart emoji, writing her initials along with a black heart in the caption.

His legion of followers jumped into the captions to share their strength with him at this time and let him know his family was in their thoughts.

Rapper Stefflon Don wrote: ‘Sending you love and strength I know she’s watching over all of you.’

Ja Rule chimed in with three prayer hand emojis.

Diddy and Kim split over 11 years ago but continued to co-parent their three children – twins Jessie James, D’Lila Star, 12, and Christian Combs, 21 – as ‘close friends’. Kim also helped to raise Diddy’s daughter Chance, 13, whom he welcomed five months before the birth of their twins.

Kim was found dead in her home aged 47 on 15 November last year.  In a statement issued in January, a medical examiner in Los Angeles confirmed Porter died from lobar pneumonia, saying: ‘On Nov. 16, 2018, an autopsy was performed on Porter.

‘The cause of death was deferred pending further investigation. It was later determined Porter died from lobar pneumonia. The manner of death was certified as natural.’

Diddy previously paid tribute to Kim, branding 15 December as Kim Porter Day.

In a post, he wrote: ‘I have been in love with Kim almost all my life. She is the one that’s really rolled with me through everything, so that is definitely my Queen.

‘There is only one Crown, only one KING, only one Queen. That’s who she is.’
