Adele, 33, has issued an emotional apology to her fans after she announced she’s been forced to reschedule her tour. The Easy On Me singer broke down in tears as she apologised profusely to those who had travelled to see her, but admitted that “it’s not ready”.
In the heart-wrenching video that left many upset, she held her head in her hands as she said: “Listen, I’m so sorry but my show isn’t ready.
“We’ve tried absolutely everything. We can’t put it together in time for it to be good enough for you but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid – half my crew, half my team are down with Covid and still are.
“And it’s been impossible to finish the show.”
Following the emotional apology, fans immediately rushed to the comment section to reassure the singer that it isn’t her fault.
One penned: “There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, my dear. The world is still a mess, but surely better things are yet to come for all of us. On the right time. All the best to you and all your crew!”
Another added: “What u crying for?? It’s not your fault!! We love u and understand.”(sic)
“Praying for you, @Adele I know this decision didn’t come lightly. Just to see your raw emotions in this video, my heart goes out to you. We love you,” a third cheered.
Another commented: “I hate seeing her like this. You’re doing what’s best for everyone.”
Someone else reasoned: “She is amazing and really cares what she delivers! It’s worth the wait and out of your control.”
Adele is currently at the beginning of her Las Vegas residency, where the London-born songstress announced last year she would be playing 24 concerts on Fridays and Saturdays at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum.
She began her set on January 18 at the 4,200-seater venue, and the show will run until April 16.
Tickets for Weekends With Adele range from £700 to £9,000+.
According to reports, the superstar will take home a whopping £500K per show, making her the highest-paid female star in the history of the organisation.
