James ‘Arg’ Argent, Caprice and Love Island’s Hayley Hughes were worlds away from the glamorous lifestyle they prefer to enjoy for the latest episode of Celebs On The Farm.

In the first messy challenge of the show, the stars are seen mucking out on the farm and judging by their faces it was much harder than they expected.

The stars appear on the show along with former Strictly Come Dancing professional Artem Chigvintsev, Shameless actress Tina Malone and Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts.

As well as comedienne Crissy Rock, football pundit Paul Merson, Paralympian Kadeen and champion boxer Charlie Edwards.

The show follows the ten celebrities as they learn what it takes to be real-life farmers over a ten day period.

They have to complete tasks such as tending to the animals and mucking out manure on Lunsford Farm in West Sussex.

And it’s all done under the watchful eye of farmer Chris Jeffery as he instructs the stars on how best to complete the tasks.

Speaking about their experience on Good Morning Britain, Arg and David told Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins: ‘The best and worst parts of being on a farm were the challenges. Some were really fun, some were horrific.

‘Cleaning out the muck, the smells we had to experience. We were constantly gagging,’ Arg added.

To which Richard replied: ‘I don’t think the smell of manure is bad at all. Did you milk a cow?’

‘I didn’t milk a cow but I did a lot of things like catching a chicken,’ Arg replied.

Celebs On The Farm Series 2 airs weeknights on Channel 5 and 5Star at 10 PM.
