Harry Styles chants ‘f*** the government and f*** Boris’ as Stormzy joins him on stage for Vossi Bop

Stormzy joined Harry Styles on stage at an intimate gig in London for a performance of his hit track “Vossi Bop”.

Video footage posted on social media by fans who attended the gig showed Styles with the grime star as they urged the audience to chant the lyrics: “F*** the government and f*** Boris.”

The show took place at Electric Ballroom in Camden, to celebrate the release of Styles’ new album Fine Line

Both artists released albums last week – Styles shared his second albumwhile Stormzy dropped Heavy is the Headthe follow-up to his 2017 debut Gang Signs & Prayer.

The two albums have received positive reviews from critics. The Independent said that Styles “expands on the languorous guitar rock that has been Styles’ currency since he left One Direction, with copious charm and flickers of ingenuity”.

Meanwhile, The Independent’s review of Heavy is the Head praised Stormzy for being “keen to test himself emotionally, as well as artistically”.

“All of Stormzy’s best traits are present and correct: sincerity, a smooth flow and a forensic-like analysis of societal ills, laced with pathos and humour. The lasting impression is of an artist whose only way is up,” the review said.

Stormzy recently brushed off criticism from Piers Morgan after the Good Morning Britain presenter claimed he should “weild [his] power more carefully”, after the rapper told a Year 3 pupil at his old school that Boris Johnson was “a very, very bad man”.

“The kid asked me a question and I replied truthfully,” Stormzy tweeted to Morgan. “Nothing wrong with that Piers.”
