EVER since he shot to fame in One Direction, Harry Styles’ love life has been the talk of this column.
But having kept schtum on relationships with stars including Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner, he has made a surprising U-turn on his new record.
On it, the star has opened up about his year-long romance with French model Camille Rowe and suggested his infidelity was the reason it ended in July 2018.
I was given a preview of his Fine Line album — out Friday next week — and on its sixth track, Falling, he hints he may have been unfaithful while with the Victoria’s Secret beauty.
He sings: “I’m in my bed and you’re not here. And there’s no one to blame but the drink and my wandering hands.”
But the track, on which he is accompanied by gentle piano and guitar, follows an acoustic song called Cherry where he mocks her new boyfriend.
Camille went on to date art collector Theo Niarchos, whose father Philip has a multi-million-pound collection.
On the song, Harry begs, “Don’t you call him ‘baby’, we’re not talking lately. Don’t you call him what you used to call me”, before adding: “Does he take you walking round his parents’ gallery?”
Rather than reverting back to his pop past, Harry has forged on with the Seventies-inspired sound he first presented on his self-titled debut two years ago.
Fleetwood Mac and Bob Dylan are clear influences, no more so than on the earthy song Canyon Moon, which seems to be about missing a loved one while on tour.
One thing is for sure. You won’t forget the album’s name.
On the title track, which sounds heavily inspired by US band Bon Iver, he sings “Fine Line” 20 times.
For anyone who liked his first album, this one will go down a treat.

Who the Mel are you?
CHECK out this pair of beauties – Mel B and, er, Mel B seen together here for the very first time.
Scary Spice and her Bo’ Selecta! alter ego – courtesy of Leigh Francis, better known as Keith Lemon – came together to host E4’s What A F***in’ Year, which airs on December 17.
The two Scaries will be joined by a few other famous faces including Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson, Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Ninja Warrior host Chris Kamara.
I wonder if they’ll be able to tell their hosts apart.

SHIA LaBeouf planned to become a volunteer in the US Peace Corps before writing and starring in autobiographical drama Honey Boy. He said: “I thought my acting career was done. I was going to join the Peace Corps.”
So, when did 1D reunite?
THREE of the five 1D boys have new songs out today.
Niall Horan has released ballad Put A Little Love On Me, while Harry has love song Adore You and Liam Payne’s debut album LP1 finally hits the shelves.
In an exclusive chat, Niall admitted it’s bonkers. He said: “It’s something we don’t talk about, the fact we keep releasing music at the same time.
“We should probably start staying away from each other in terms of that but we will get it one day. But thank God there’s enough room for us all.”
And while I have every confidence in Niall and Harry, I doubt Liam is feeling quite as self-assured about his album.
The record was delayed by more than a year when he went back to the drawing board following his split from Cheryl Tweedy. And with his team reluctant to send me a preview, my hopes aren’t high.
Speaking yesterday about releasing on the same day as his former bandmates, Liam said: “It’s great. It’s almost like the One Direction album is out now.” If only.

Bob’s do a bit cheesy
WORTH an estimated £155million, Robbie Williams could afford to throw one of the biggest parties of the year to renew his marriage vows.
But ahead of his tenth anniversary celebrations with wife Ayda next summer he is planning a much more down-to-earth bash – with catering to match.
Robbie wants to return to his home town of Tunstall, in Stoke-on-Trent, for the occasion and intends to binge on his favourite foods, despite having spent the past year slimming down.
He said: “We’re going to hire out the local social club. I quite fancy some cheese and pineapple on sticks and some heavy pastry-style food.”
The Rock DJ singer proposed to Ayda again on her 40th birthday in May, only for her to ask for a new ring.
He joked: “She can have the new rock, but we do the party and the reception in Tunstall. How about that?”
Sounds fair to me.

Celeste’s a Brit hit
IF there is one new artist to look out for in 2020, it’s Celeste.
Today she has been unveiled as the winner of the Rising Star gong ahead of the 2020 Brit Awards and has been confirmed as the first performer for the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena on February 18.
Celeste said: “It’s a huge honour. Like many others, I grew up watching the Brits and have been continually inspired by its nominees, winners and the performances.
“I’m hoping to make the most of this incredible opportunity and I can’t wait to perform on the Brits next year.”
Cam’s still hot it
THE temperature might be dwindling around single figures but Camila Cabello is in full bloom.
The Senorita singer wore this floral dress at L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Awards on Wednesday evening in New York, where it was snowing outside.
But I imagine she had sweaty palms as new album Romance – the follow-up to her huge-selling debut which she has spent more than a year working on – is out today.
The songs have been inspired by her ex Matthew Hussey and new boyfriend Shawn Mendes, who she has been dating since July.
Camila said: “Falling in love is the ultimate inspiration because it draws the most emotion out of you.”

SHERIDAN Smith’s life story is on hold. She tweeted: “Been asked numerous times in the past but never more since being pregnant to write an autobiography. But I keep turning it down as they should be at the end of your lifetime, no? Hate when young folk write them, although maybe I’m not seen as young now.”
