Harry Potter star Scarlett Byrne marries Playboy heir Cooper Hefner in intimate courthouse ceremony

Harry Potter actress Scarlett Byrne has married her boyfriend Cooper Hefner.

The couple legally wed in an simple and intimate courthouse ceremony, but are making plans to have a full on wedding celebration in the near future.

Scarlett, 29, announced she had tied the knot with Cooper on Instagram.

She shared a picture of the happy couple with their arms around each other, smiling at the camera.

Although it was a simple ceremony, they were dressed for the occasion.

Cooper wore a smart, dark suit with a white shirt while his new wife looked stunning in a lacy white dress.

She leaned into her husband’s shoulder as he placed a hand around her waist.

Cooper, 28, is one of the four children of the late Hugh Hefner, founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine, who died in 2017.

Scarlett shared a message on Instagram with her followers about her special day.

She said: ‘Cooper and I are excited to share that we legally married. We are looking forward to planning our wedding in the coming months where we will celebrate further with our friends and family.

‘I love you Cooper. I am proud to stand by your side, as your partner, your friend, and your wife.

‘I cannot wait to continue building a life together. My heart is so full and I am so grateful for our love.’

Sharing pictures of their special day to Instagram, Cooper said they ‘could not be happier’.

He posted: ‘Scarlett and I have made it officially legal and the two of us could not be happier. Cheers to a life full of love, happiness, adventure, and great purpose, Mrs. Hefner.

‘I love you dearly and very much look forward to planning our wedding celebrations in the months ahead. I love you, Scarlett.’

Crystal Hefner, Hugh’s widow, left a supportive message for the newlyweds in the comments, writing: ‘Congrats you two’ and adding love heart emojis.

Scarlett played the character Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter film franchise, which starred Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
