Harry Potter star Devon Murray reveals he’s expecting first baby with girlfriend Shannon as he shares scan snaps

HARRY Potter star Devon Murray has announced he’s expecting his first baby with girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey Quinn.

The actor, who played Seamus Finnigan in huge franchise, shared snaps from the scan of the baby alongside a grey babygrow with an elephant on it.

The Kildare native also revealed that his bundle of joy is due in January of next year.

He said on Instagram: “Baby Murray – 14th of January 2021.”

Fans, friends and some famous flocked to his comment section to congratulate him on the wonderful news.

Former Miss World Rosanna Davison wrote: “Huge congrats to you both! Amazing news!”

Harry Potter co-star Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, added: “Awwww congratulations Dev!!

“So happy for you! you’re going to be such a fun dad!”

One fan said: “If it’s a boy please name him Seamus!!!!”

Devon and Shannon have been together since November 2018. Devon shared snaps of their first Valentine’s Day last year in Paris.

This comes after fellow Harry Potter star Rupert Grint became a dad when girlfriend Georgia Groome recently gave birth to a baby girl.

A statement from the couple said: “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”

Rupert, 31, and girlfriend Georgia, 28, have been together since 2011. They announced the news that she was pregnant in April.
